About Quincy Classic Boat & Outboard Show
The Quincy Classic Boat & Outboard Show celebrates the rich boating heritage of Quincy, Illinois and the Mississippi River. Held at the historic Quincy Boat Club, the event brings together classic boat enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, racers, and families from across the Midwest.
Guests experience beautifully restored vintage boats, antique outboard motors, river demonstrations, swap meets, and unforgettable moments on the water. The show also honors Quincy’s historic role in outboard racing innovation and marine craftsmanship during the golden age of boating.
Whether you are a lifelong boating enthusiast or simply appreciate timeless design and history, the Quincy Classic Boat & Outboard Show offers a unique experience dedicated to preserving and celebrating classic American boating culture.
Mississippi River Run
Join us for a scenic 17 mile Mississippi River Run from Hannibal, Missouri, the hometown of Mark Twain, to Quincy, Illinois, featuring a lockage through Lock and Dam #21 on September 18th, 19th and 20th, 2026. Boats will launch from Hannibal Marina between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM, with shuttle service provided from the Quincy show site back to Hannibal for vehicle and trailer pickup.
Enjoy an exciting weekend featuring Saturday’s river run, a swap meet, and an in water boat show with hydro test periods. Participant registration is free. Come experience the excitement on the Mississippi River.

Marvel at the stunning collection of classic inboard and outboard runabout models, along with vintage racing motors. Enjoy hydro test periods throughout the weekend!
17-Mile Mississippi River Run
Embark on a scenic cruise from Hannibal, MO to Quincy, IL. Experience the thrill of a group lockage through Lock and Dam #21 as you navigate the majestic Mississippi River.
Swap Meet & Fun
Explore our weekend-long Swap Meet where you can buy, sell, and trade classic boat parts and accessories. Enjoy delicious offerings from food trucks on Saturday!
